Having successfully managed the launch of research and development tech start-up Vet AI through a targeted PR programme of B2B, veterinary trade and world-wide tech and business media, Vet AI appointed MacComms in 2018 to manage the launch of its app, Joii direct to consumers.
Combining PR with a social media strategy, we planned and timed a competition to launch the new veterinary app via a pet-model competition. Making national and global news, the coverage was shared across social media and targeting boosting of Facebook and Instagram posts saw 3,600 entries into the competition over just three weeks, with contact details captured for the team to contact with further information about the new app.
Regular content is shared to both Vet AI’s B2B platforms; Twitter and LinkedIn with a focus on consumer messages across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Engagement is paramount and well-thought-out posts asking the firm’s social media audience to comment with their own thoughts and images has been the most successful approach.
Joii had over 7000 downloads in the first two weeks. We have developed a unique hashtag #MomentsofJoii and track this to include success of its use within monthly reports, consistently reviewing and adjusting the strategy for ongoing success.
From December 2018-December 2019, we have secured 160 pieces of press coverage reaching a worldwide audience and supporting the young firm’s growth.
