Business leaders from across Leeds are being invited to swap formal networking for cheese, conversation and community connection at a special event next month.
Yorkshire-based suicide prevention organisation HelloHope has teamed up with Homage2Fromage for Nibbles & Natter, an informal evening designed to bring local businesses together to talk about positive mental health while enjoying a cheeseboard experience.
The event will take place at Adelphi Leeds, on Thursday 16 April 2026 from 6pm to 9pm. Guests will enjoy Homage2Fromage’s help-yourself buffet of eight cheeses, along with breads, crackers and chutneys, in a relaxed setting that puts conversation first.
The evening is about showing how meaningful conversations can happen naturally in welcoming spaces, while also helping local businesses learn more about supporting positive mental health and suicide prevention in their workplaces and communities.
The event will also include a short introduction from Founder and CEO of HelloHope, Ellie MacDonald, who will speak about the organisation’s work bringing mental health and suicide prevention training to workplaces, whilst Nick from Homage2Fromage, who will share more about their “no-snobbery” approach to cheese events.
HelloHope hopes the event will appeal to local businesses looking for a different kind of networking opportunity — one that is friendly, purposeful and centred around people.
Founder and CEO of HelloHope, Ellie MacDonald said:
“Nibbles & Natter is all about creating space for genuine conversation. We want to bring local businesses together in a relaxed and welcoming environment and highlight how small conversations can make a big difference. As a self-confessed cheese lover, partnering with Homage2Fromage felt like the perfect way to do that — with great cheese and great company.”
The event is open to business leaders, employers and professionals interested in connecting with others while finding out more about HelloHope’s mission and future collaboration opportunities.
Tickets are £24 with all profits supporting HelloHope’s continued work and can be purchased via https://www.tickettailor.com/events/hellohope/2056746.
