Hottest one-off chilli cheese coming to Leeds this September

    By Daisy Nguyen | Latest news | Comments are Closed | 20 August, 2026 | 0

A unique networking event is returning to The Adelphi Leeds in support of suicide prevention next month.

Following the success of its debut earlier this year, HelloHope’s ‘Nibbles & Natter’ event returns on Thursday 10th September 2026, inviting business leaders and cheese lovers to a networking event with a twist.

Held on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event is a joint effort between Leeds-based suicide prevention organisation HelloHope, cheeseboard specialists Homage2Fromage, and Leeds institution The Chilli Shop, run by its well-known owner, Frank.

Nibbles & Natter is an informal evening designed to bring local businesses together whilst enjoying eight different types of cheese, with the September edition including a one-off, custom cheese collaboration between Homage2Fromage and The Chilli Shop, made using Pepper X, currently recognised as the world’s hottest chilli.

The event will include a short introduction from the Founder and CEO of HelloHope, Ellie MacDonald, who will speak about the organisation’s work bringing mental health and suicide prevention to workplaces, whilst Nick Copland, co-founder of Homage2Fromage will share more about their “no-snobbery” approach to cheese events.

A cheese and chilli hamper will also be up for grabs in a raffle with all proceeds from the event support HelloHope’s ongoing work in suicide prevention across the UK.

Ellie MacDonald, the CEO and Founder of HelloHope, comments:

“Suicide prevention doesn’t have to be heavy. We work hard to increase awareness and reduce stigma by leading from a place of hope to make these important conversations easier.

“Nibbles & Natter promises a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable evening of connection over cheese, deliberately designed to avoid the stiffness of traditional networking.”

The event is open to business leaders and professionals interested in connecting with others while supporting HelloHope’s work. Tickets are £24 and can be purchased at https://www.tickettailor.com/events/hellohope/2175147.
