MacComms launches its wedding PR service

    By Ellie MacDonald | Latest news | Comments are Closed | 20 June, 2016 | 0

MacComms is proud to announce the launch of its wedding PR offer inviting wedding businesses to combine their skills with our founder, Ellie MacDonald’s passion to promote everything weddings!

As a qualified wedding planner herself, Ellie has experienced all aspects of weddings, including successfully promoting her own DIY wedding in 2014. The successful promotion of the day sparked interest from a range of publications including the UK edition of the international magazine, Cosmopolitan.

The success doesn’t stop there, working with wedding businesses such as Elenor Rose Bridal has resulted in dramatic increases in both clientele and press coverage for both businesses. Securing vast press coverage, organising and promoting launch events and managing social media for wedding clients, MacComms has even have helped Elenor Rose Bridal owner, Lynette Blythe, become shortlisted for a regional award to add credibility to her business.

Lynette Blythe, owner of Elenor Rose Bridal says:

“MacComms has been a breath of fresh air that my business needed. They have helped us gain exposure in the key local wedding media and I was overjoyed to be shortlisted for a prestigious award in business!”

Bringing together expert event management and tailored PR support, MacComms has developed strong relationships with key journalists and bloggers to effectively raise the profile of any business in the wedding sector. By cultivating key contacts within the wedding industry including a range of bridal magazines and bridal bloggers, MacComms has successfully secured both regional and national press coverage which in turn has effectively attracted a wider range of new clientele. With businesses increasingly relying on technology for communications, MacComms has, by incorporating a wide range of media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, created a substantial digital awareness and developed a key relationship with journalists and bloggers.

    Ellie comments:

“I am proud of how successful MacComms has been in its first year and following my passion for weddings, I have naturally begun to pick up work in this sector and achieve some great results for wedding suppliers. I have ambitious plans for MacComms to become the wedding PR specialists, starting by showcasing the fabulous weddings Yorkshire suppliers can organise.”
