Brand new jukebox launched for the ultimate music fan

Leeds-based Sound Leisure, Europe’s only classic jukebox manufacturer, has teamed up with world-renowned audio experts Marshall Amplification to manufacture a Marshall branded, vinyl playing jukebox.

An iconic British brand, integral to the worldwide music scene, Marshall has been producing amplifiers for more than 55 years and has been celebrated by leading musicians around the world including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Slash and Oasis.

With an equally star-studded line up of celebrity clients, Sound Leisure jukeboxes grace some of the finest homes and commercial buildings in the world.

Based on Sound Leisure’s 1950s styled Rocket, the effortlessly cool vinyl playing jukebox incorporates a multitude of genuine Marshall supplied components. Marshall fans will love the brushed gold castings and instantly recognisable buttons, fret cloth, piping, logo’s and tolex material which wraps the jukebox cabinet, reflecting the finish of the famous amplifier cabs. The quality amplifier and loudspeaker system has been fine-tuned at Marshall’s headquarters to ensure that the exclusive machine is both visually appealing and has the iconic Marshall sound.

All machines are hand-built to the highest standard by Sound Leisure’s team of master craftsmen and women and are individually numbered and a certificate of authentication is signed by both companies. Bluetooth connectivity is standard, and the jukebox can also be linked to smart technologies, external speakers can be connected and controlled independently from the jukebox.

The machines can be supplied on free play or can have a coin mechanism installed.

The jukebox which retails for £9495 has been in development for over 12 months and has already received orders from Europe, America, China, and Thailand.

Marshall managing director, Jon Ellery says:

“Marshall is incredibly proud to join forces with Sound Leisure to deliver a true masterpiece. Being able to provide the signature Marshall sound to vinyl’s is hopefully the next best thing to being live in the studio. Sound Leisure has done an incredible job by incorporating real Marshall component’s into the design, and with their attention to detail and quality, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner.”

Sound Leisure managing director Chris Black comments:

“Marshall and Sound Leisure are globally renowned as leaders in their respective fields. The collaboration between two of the U.K’s most innovative and cool businesses is sure to wow fans around the world and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to work alongside the team at Marshall. We are all extremely proud of the Jukebox that we have created together and look forward to offering our clients a truly unique machine that will be enjoyed for generations to come.”

A Marshall jukebox will be available to view and listen to at the Sound Leisure pop-up store in Victoria Gate shopping centre, Leeds, from Wednesday 1st July and can be ordered via the Sound Leisure website: https://soundleisure.com/classic-jukeboxes/jukeboxes/marshall-vinyl-jukebox.
