HD Business Works gain new adviser

    By Ellie MacDonald | Latest news | Comments are Closed | 16 September, 2016 | 0

Local advisory programme is to be joined by a new adviser Adrian Bird to offer his business expertise to local business owners in the HD area.

HD Business Works, formed in April this year, will be accepting ‘The Apprentice Finder’ Adrian Bird to its team of advisers. HD Business Works offers free support and guidance to companies which are based and/or trade within the HD postcode and current advisors include our very own Ellie MacDonald.

Having been involved in work-based learning since 2008, Adrian is now committed sharing his wealth of knowledge to the HD Business Works community and helping to connect businesses to apprentices.

Having gained extensive recruitment experience from working with a range of sole traders to FTSE 100 companies, Adrian will be adding a new dynamic to growing pool of advisers at HD Business Works. Current areas of support include PR and marketing, accounting, international trade, sales and more.

As the founder of The Apprentice Finder, a Brighouse-based recruitment agency, Adrian is known for providing support in schools, connecting students to good quality apprenticeship opportunities and supporting businesses to discuss funding and grant support available.

Current advisers are from local companies; Breakthrough, Delicious Media, LimeTree Europe, MacComms, Pierrepont, Riasca, Simply Customer, The Implementer and Truefleet.

    Adrian says:

“I am excited to join the group and share the goal of helping small businesses in the local area to grow. I am confident that I will add additional benefits to businesses looking to seek additional resource and invest in local people through apprenticeships.”

Founded by Jonathan Hill of accountancy practice, Pierrepont, HD Business Works offers free support and guidance to companies which are based and/or trade within the HD postcode.

    Johnathan says:

“Having Adrian on board is a big step in the right direction for us. He’s got a fantastic attitude towards business and shares our desire to help businesses in the local area”.
