User experience consultancy strengthens team with new appointment

    By Ellie MacDonald | Client news | Comments are Closed | 16 December, 2019 | 0

A Yorkshire-based user experience and behavioural research consultancy has appointed a new sales executive.

Leeds-based SimpleUsability has made the appointment to support the growth of its sister company Research Helper, which offers state of the art research facilities and helps to carefully recruit participants for research.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Cheyenne Ritfeld joins the firm following an MA in Medical Anthropology at SOAS, University of London. Commenting on her appointment, Cheyenne said:

“Why SimpleUsability do what they do has everything to do with human behaviour This immediately sparked my enthusiasm to join the team. Personally, I have always been intrigued by human behaviour and this has guided many of my decisions in terms of my academic and non-academic career.

“Working in new business development at SimpleUsability is a logical next step, especially since this means I can help researchers and UX teams run more successful research in our great facilities with carefully recruited participants For the next few years, I hope to help many more agencies and brand owners do this and support Research Helper’s growth.”

Judith Doherty, Business Development Director at SimpleUsability added:
“Cheyenne has a passionate and inquisitive nature, which means she has fitted in with our team immediately. She has already become a strong advocate for our services, as she sets out to meet potential clients to follow the path of brands we work with such as the NHS, Coca-Cola and ASDA, all of whom recognise the important of research in understanding and meeting the needs of their users and customers.”

A sister company of SimpleUsability, Research Helper is just a 10-minute walk from Leeds train station in Holbeck Urban Village media hub, with free parking for participants and observers. It offers high quality viewing facilities, as well as research support services such as in-house participant recruitment and facilitation of UX and accessibility research.
