Ellie wins entrepreneurial award for the second time

    By Ellie MacDonald | Latest news | Comments are Closed | 23 January, 2017 | 0

Our founder, Ellie MacDonald has been awarded an accolade from the world’s largest growth accelerator programme for the second time.

Ellie was presented with the Chiclet’s Choice Award at an evening awards ceremony, which took place at the Entrepreneurial Spark offices in Leeds on 18th January 2017.

The Entrepreneurial Spark programme is the largest of its kind in the world. Funded by Natwest, the initiative gives participants access to free office space, mentors and networking opportunities.

The awards were announced in front of more than 80 entrepreneurs, mentors and senior staff from partners, Natwest, RBS and KPMG. Alongside the award, Ellie was granted £1000 to invest in MacComms to help with further business growth and development.

Ellie was also named Chiclet’s Choice at the programme’s previous awards ceremony in July 2016.

The Chiclet’s Choice Award is based on the votes of business peers who are also on board the Entrepreneurial Spark programme. The award seeks to recognise entrepreneurs who have gone the extra mile to help, advise and support fellow businesses within the Entrepreneurial Spark programme.

Commenting on the award win, founder and managing director Ellie MacDonald said:

“I am absolutely thrilled to have been awarded Chiclet’s Choice for the second time. It is a fantastic achievement to have been recognised by my fellow peers at the Entrepreneurial Spark hatchery in Leeds. The programme itself is great to be part, working alongside some of the country’s most inspiring and hard-working entrepreneurs is incredibly exciting. I am always keen to collaborate and support other start-ups where possible.”

Our clients Zest Mixology and GoodSense Training were also presented with awards on the night including a GoDo Acceler8 award and a pitching award, respectively.
